BELT SCALE (BS4)

BS electronic conveyor belt scale system enables measuring of the flow rate of the bulk material carried by the conveyor belt, in terms of kilograms per hour. Weighing the bulk material during the conveying process not only provides valuable information but also saves the company time and labor.

BS has been designed to fit all types of contemporary conveyor belt systems. Located in place of one or a group of idlers on which the belt moves, the belt scale measures the load via the load cell and the belt speed via a digital tachometer, and forwards these values to the control terminal. With the BS product range, Leader offers a single-idler construction (SIB) and a multi-idler construction which feature 2 and 4 load cells respectively. Protected to IP 68 standards, the load cells mounted on the belt scale performs a 1/3000 accuracy.

The backbone of the system is the microprocessor-controlled Leader LCA terminal, which installs and operates the system, and offers many features from monitoring data to producing reports. The memory units integrated to the system are immune to power cuts.
