FLOW SCALE

FS flow scale automatic weighing system has been developed for measuring the flow rates of industrial materials in powder or granulated form which can be free-flown.

These systems can be used with such conveyors as vertical flow pipes which does not allow for use of conveyor belt scales, flow meters and silo weighing systems.

FS operates on the following principle: The material from the feeding pipe is allowed to free-fall on an inclined plate mounted on the load cell. The impact of the flow on the plate is measured by the load cell and the flow rate is indicated on the electronic rating unit. The system then calculates the instant flow rate as well as the total amount of materials passed and sends signals to the control system.
